Tarragon-Lemon Butter

Ingredients

3 tsp finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
8 TB (1 stick) salted butter, at room temperature
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest
A few drops of fresh lemon juice
Fresh ground white or black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the tarragon, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, butter and pepper in a mixing bowl and stir or whisk until light and fluffy. Or do the stirring with a mixer or in a food processor. Wrap, roll, and store the butter for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
